A sheep that needs mowing? Ewe bet she does

HAVE you ever seen a sheep in dire need of a lawn mower instead of shears?

A curious photograph doing the rounds of social media shows a fat healthy sheep tucking into some oats.

So into her oats she is, she apparently insists on being the first to the grain on feed days - often running underneath the pouring oats.

Much to her owners' amusement, she's now started sprouting green shoots from her wool.

Tim, Liz and Emme Harrington from Three Farmers posted the image that's been liked nearly 5000 times and shared nearly 1500.

Facebook users were highly amused.

Julie D Suan: Hehe. You are what you eat?

Chrystine Duzevich: A new diverse type of farming

Wendy Reiser: That's to share with her fellow sheep when times are tough or when they just simply can't be bothered to walk the few extra yards to get to the grass on the ground. This ewe is a giver.

Teena Cendrillon: If she could grow Rosemary and garlic it would kill two birds with one stone or one sheep with two herbs.
