Two-year-old in serious condition after hit-and-run

A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl in hospital in a serious but stable condition after being struck in a hit and run in Adelaide on Saturday night.

South Australian police reported the hit and run happened at about 7.30pm on Saturday in Athol Park, and are still investigating the matter.

The girl was transferred to the city's Women's and Children's Hospital for treatment for "non-life threatening injuries".
