MEL B wants to organise a play date between her new baby girl and Denise Richards' daughter.

The former Spice Girl and her husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their first child together into the world at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Hospital last night (01.09.11) and she isn't wasting any time organising the day old tot's social life.

Denise - who recently adopted three-month-old Eloise - sent a message on twitter to Mel saying: "@OfficialMelB congrats mama! Can't wait to meet her!!!...xo

To which Mel - who already has two daughters, 12-year-old Phoenix, and four-year-old Angel, from previous relationships - replied: "@DENISE_RICHARDS thank you sweet heart, play dates for sure xxxx (sic)"

Denise isn't the only one of Mel's friends to have taken to the micro-blogging website to congratulate her on her new arrival.

Kim Kardashian wrote: "Congrats to @OfficialMelB & Stephen on their new baby girl! Can't wait to meet her! (sic)"

And the 36-year-old star - who attended Kim's recent wedding to Kris Humphries - tweeted back: "@KimKardashian ahhhh thank you my love, your gonna fall in love with her!!! (sic)"

Since the birth, the 'Wannabe' singer insists she is in more in love with her husband Stephen - who has a six-year-old daughter Giselle from a prior romance - than ever before.

She wrote on her twitter page: "@Stephenthinks1 I didn't think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey,we have a truly amazing family xxxx (sic)"
