50-year-old man injured after motorcycle crash in Nerang

A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured following a traffic incident in Nerang this morning.

Around 9.30am, a car and a motorcycle collided near a roundabout on Price Street.

As a result of the collision, the 50-year-old male motorcycle rider was thrown from the bike.

He has been transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Price Street is down to one lane whilst the Forensic Crash Unit investigate.

A 29-year-old man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
