19-year-old man charged after alleged pub assault

DETECTIVES have charged a man following an alleged assault at a licensed premises in Gatton overnight.

Police were called to the hotel on Railway Street at around 1am following reports a 24-year-old man had sustained facial injuries from an alleged glassing.

The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

A 19-year-old Crowley Vale man has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on September 28.
