What’s Cooking in the Gardens? brings a day of “botanical bliss” to the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens.

Moreton Bay Regional Council dishes up a feast of gardening gurus, entertainment, markets, food and fun! This event celebrates the great outdoors through food, entertainment and nature. Don’t miss garden guru Phil Dudman and fabulous foodie Julie Ray as they present their “garden2kitchen” demonstrations alongside Redcliffe’s top chefs and gardening experts. The infamous Battle of the Butchers returns with the "Lord of Lamb" and there’ll also be plant, garden and environmental stalls and displays, fun workshops, quality markets, fabulous food stalls, arty crafty demonstrations and displays, wine tasting and roving entertainers all set amidst the beautiful backdrop of Redcliffe’s Botanic Gardens. Fantastic kids entertainment and activities including: •Bunnings 'Paint-a-Pot, Plant-a-Pot' •Rainbow’s Eco Activities •“Red Hot Fibre” Needle Weaving with natural fibres •Design a Dragonfly (make and paint your own beautiful dragonfly) •Crochet and felt flower brooches using organic dyes •Make a paper tea cup •Kid’s Play with Clay at the Pottery •Peg Doll Making •Bush Tucker walks with Eugene Bargo •'Mini-Chefs' Cooking Classes •Pony rides/Animal Farm Gold coin entry to the Gardens. Free parking at Bradley Park (adjacent) and weather permitting. Free parking and regular shuttle service from Redcliffe Showgrounds to the Gardens. Most activities free.
