SOMERSET Regional Council's Essentially Somerset photo competition entries are now on exhibition following the short listing of entries by a panel of nine judges.
The result of a week of judging is a reduction of the 300 entries to an exciting exhibition of 120 photographs extolling multiple aspects of the Somerset region in a visual feast.
The exhibition is on display at the Somerset Regional Council Libraries in Lowood, Esk, Toogoolawah and Kilcoy and at the Soldiers Memorial Hall in Moore.
The images can also be viewed online at the Somerset Regional Council website www.somerset.qld.gov.au.
Each Somerset resident is entitled to vote for that one special photograph that speaks to them as capturing the "spirit" of Somerset.
This vote will decide the winner of the $1000 grand prize with voting open to residents on presentation of ID.
Voting slips are available at the libraries.
