ALSEIA Spicer, Karen Moore, Dee Robinson and Pat Coombes cooked up a storm at Woolworths Fernvale for the Fernvale Girl Guides.
AS ONE of the newest clubs to start in the region, Fernvale Girl Guides is calling for extra support as the club continues to grow in members.
Club founder Dee Robinson said they were looking for more Guide leaders, a district leader and treasurer as the group makes more future plans.
"We have about 20 girls now and we are starting to get more equipment after we were lucky enough to receive a Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant and were chosen as the community group to be supported by Woolworths," she said.
She said the grant they received will also go towards a three-bay shed with shelving to store supplies.
"We haven't been able to have a lot of stuff until now so it will be good to have somewhere to store it," she said.
Fernvale Girl Guides meets every Monday at the Fernvale Community Hall from 4pm-6pm.
