THE road toll has continued to climb with two Toowoomba people killed in a horrific crash near Toogoolawah on Saturday.
18-year-old Imogen Myatt died at the scene of the crash which occurred around 9.30am on the Brisbane Valley Highway.
Her father, 45-year-old Paul Myatt, was seriously injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the Royal Brisbane Hospital on Monday after his life support was turned off.
Preliminary investigations suggest both the deceased were passengers in a vehicle heading south bound when it lost control and collided with a ute towing a caravan heading north.
Mr Myatt's 18-year-old daughter Annabel and 12-year-old son Elye were treated for minor physical injuries.
A 64-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman travelling in the other vehicle were not physically injured.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Ipswich District Forensic Crash Unit on 3817 1441.
Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000.
