FROM the humble goatee to the comforting chin curtain, there is a facial hair style for every man.

And what better way to show off your regrowth than with World Beard Day, which is celebrated tomorrow.

The inaugural event was a novel idea from a bearded group from Adelaide who thought what better way to show off your whiskers than having a day full of entertainment and facial hair appreciation.

It’s the brainchild of a quirky member of band The Beards, who claims beards are crucial to our enjoyment of life.

So do you have “mutton chops” or a “chin strip”? A “balbo” or a “soul patch”?

Whether it’s a fashion statement, act of laziness or essential central heating, Saturday, September 4 is the day to wear it proud.
