THE Gatton Show continues to raise the bar for country shows throughout Australia.

On Friday and Saturday thousands of people flocked through the gates to see the bumper line-up of entertainment.

Gatton Show Society President, Keith Edwards and the entire Gatton Show Society teamed up to bring the town one of the greatest shows in its 94 year history.

The plans are in place to move the Gatton Show to a new location in the next few years and it seems it couldn't come any sooner with stewards running out of room at the current location.

There were a record number of entries in various sections, in particular the cattle and produce sections which broke records.

Woodchopping also returned to Gatton this year after a year off and a constant crowd proved how popular this event is.

As is always the case, the Friday night entertainment was the highlight with a big crowd entertained by every moment.

There was a moment of fright when one of the vehicles rolled over during the Ride and Drive event but all was forgotten when both the passenger and driver walked out of the vehicle unharmed.

Despite the accident Steven Carpenter from Carpenter Ford-Mitsubishi was adamant that the Gatton Show would continue to have the support of their business, with new cars for the event next year.
