Dedicated crowd all pitch in

DESPITE the muddy conditions, more than 30 people participated in the Clean Up Australia Day in Withcott including cubs from the Withcott Scout Group.

“Even though it was a little muddy, we still had a great morning and I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to help clean up Australia,” site supervisor Janice Holstein from Lockyer Valley Regional Council said.

“Special thanks to Neil and Gae Simpson of the Withcott Hotel for generously putting on the sausage sizzle for volunteers.”
