TWO fighters from Gatton Martial Arts have had important victories at Mooloolaba on Friday night.
Trained by Dustan Engel, Dan Hutley won his fight against his opponent Kerrod Lawton (fighting out of Rockhampton) with a TKO in the fourth round, giving him the ISKA Super Welter Weight Queensland title.
Hutley is Gatton’s first Muay Thai kickboxing state champion.
As the State champion he will contest the Australian title at the end of the year.
Luke Spencer also had a great night in Mooloolaba, winning his first fight against his opponent (fighting out of Toowoomba) with a well-timed knockout early in the first round.
