BASED near Helidon, local eight-piece band Hopney Moffett is destined for greatness.

Recording their 11 track debut album “I’m Just So Excited About Myself” in March and June of this year, the self proclaimed funk, rock, folk, folk, jazz and indie band has begun to look for small gigs around the Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley area. They play originals with their line-up including a few covers which have been ‘Hopneyed’. With a strong vocal influence in their songs, you can’t help but tap your feet along to the melodies.

Hopney Moffett was formed after a gap presented itself in the program for the second annual Helidon Jazz Festival.

Hopney Moffett music is available for download through all reputable online stores with the band set to play their next gig at Bon Amici in Toowoomba on December 3.
