Awards in full swing

THE nominations for the Star Regional Business Apprenticeship and Training Awards are now in full swing with television personality, Sofie Formica, officially signing on to MC the event.

Appearing by arrangement with Global Speakers and Entertainers, Sofie is most known for her role on Channel Seven's The Great South East.

Last year saw a very positive response with more than 400 business owners and employees and sponsors from across the region attending the gala awards presentation at the Gatton Civic Hall.

This year the awards gala presentation will be held at the Lowood State High School hall, the Star Regional Business Awards will celebrate businesses and staff's achievements and practises in our community.

Somerset Mayor, Graeme Lehmann is excited about hosting this year's awards event and welcomes everyone to nominate and participate in the awards.
