UPDATE 10:30AM: The body of 17-year-old missing man Mubark Elhag was found by police yesterday.
Police located the body around 2.45pm, and believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.
Mr Elhag was last seen in Gatton on July 30.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
Missing man, Gatton
POLICE have appealed for public help to locate a 17-year-old man who went missing in Gatton.
Mubark Elhag, who is described as being African in appearance, was last seen at an education program in North St, Gatton, on July 30.
Police believe he may have also been sighted at the Gatton Skate Park the next morning.
They believe Mr Elhag may be frequenting the Gatton and Helidon areas and want to verify his safety.
Regional District Inspector Darren Smith said he wanted to make clear it is not a criminal offence to be listed as a missing person.
"While people go missing for a variety of reasons, it is important that if you have been reported missing you make contact with police," Insp Smith said.
"If you have been reported missing and do not wish to be located, once we have verified you are safe and well, your whereabouts can remain confidential.
Mr Elhag is about 177cms tall with a slim build, and was last known to be wearing a long-sleeved shirt and trousers.
