A LONG-SERVING doctor to the Gatton community will be laid to rest in Brisbane today after passing away on Friday.

Dr Paul Rosenberg died peacefully aged 92 surrounded by his family.

Dr Rosenberg was a doctor in Gatton for an incredible 55 years before retiring to the coast in June 2006.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service today at the Jewish Chapel, Mount Gravatt Cemetery at 2pm.

Then on Thursday there will be a Memorial Service in Gatton, also at 2pm.

The service will be held at the Gatton Jubilee Golf Club, 2 Woodlands Rd.

All golf members, medical fraternity, members of the Gatton RSL, friends and anyone who has been touched by Dr Paul are respectfully invited to attend.

Andrew O'Brien of the Gatton Jubilee Golf Club said they were saddened by the news that one of their life members had died.

"He was a great friend to everyone in the club and will be sadly missed," Mr O'Brien said..
