MARBURG police are appealing for any information into the location of a stolen utility from Prenzlau.

Marburg police officer-in-charge Sergeant Bruce Peel said the 2005 white Holden Rodeo work ute was stolen from a family home between July 26 and 28 and so far police had no information on its whereabouts.

Sgt Peel said police were encouraging people to come forward with any information, no matter how insignificant they might think it is to assist in locating the ute.

"The family are devastated as the ute contained their livelihood, being fully decked out with tool boxes containing tools and equipment," he said.

Anyone with any information that could help the investigation should contact Marburg police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
