THE next West Ham United superstar could be unearthed on the Sunshine Coast over the next week.

Pacific Lutheran College and the Buderim Wanderers Football Club will host two West Ham identification clinics.

The academies, which are a part of the English club's international academy, are aimed at uncovering the best footballing talent across the globe and giving them a pathway to the Premier League.

The two-day clinics, at Pacific Lutheran College this Thursday and Friday and at Buderim Football Club next Monday and Tuesday, are open to all players from all clubs aged between eight and 17.

"Although this is a Buderim camp, it's open to players from all clubs and associations," West Ham United Academy business development manager and Buderim head coach George Cowie said.

Successful players will be invited to attend West Ham's Oceania National Camp on the Gold Coast in September. That clinic, which will be overseen by West Ham United academy director Tony Carr, will result in 10 players being invited to London to train with the West Ham United Academy.
